Adriana Marchione MA, REAT, RSMT (Producer/Director)
Adriana Marchione has been involved in the arts for over thirty five years as an award-winning documentary filmmaker, dancer, photographer, and is internationally recognized in her work as a movement-based expressive arts therapist and educator. She has presented her creative approach and documentary work at universities, festivals, conferences, and art centers including South by Southwest, the National Council on Drug and Alcohol Dependence, and the Commonwealth Club. Championing the role of the arts to promote mental health, Adriana takes on the topics of grief and addiction in her films When the Fall Comes (2014) and The Creative High (2021). The Creative High has received numerous awards including Jury Prize for Excellence in American Profiles from San Francisco Indie Fest, and Best Documentary for Women in Film at the Austin Indie Fest.
Kirk Goldberg (Producer/Director/Editor)
Kirk Goldberg is a film and video producer, director and editor based in San Francisco. He also runs a professional editing suite located in a media rich environment that includes shooting stages and audio post production facilities. Over the years Kirk has always had variety in his projects and has worked extensively in independent feature film, broadcast television and corporate markets. Currently, his focus in documentary work includes the editing of the award-winning documentary feature, The Creative High. He also works a great deal in commercials with a focus in politics along with continuing to produce, direct and edit for corporate clients. For more information go to
Hank Sultan (Writer/Producer)
Hank Sultan, a San Francisco native, attended San Francisco Art Institute and San Francisco State University, where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees. He has exhibited professionally since 1966 on the local, national and international circuit. Sultan notably has been a community muralist since 1976, and is actively involved with the well known Precita Eyes Muralist Association for decades both as a tour guide and board member. He is the author of 'The Art of the Mandala: Mandala Paintings through the Last Gasp Press. Sultan continues to paint in his home art studio and share his work in galleries and through video and film.

Toshi Onuki (Art Director)
Toshi Onuki is a visual artist and art director based in Carmel Valley & Tokyo. He has worked on multiple Hollywood and music titles such as Disney & Neil Young. He has extensive experience in video/film production as well as Interactive media designing numerous platforms from small to large such as Web, Blu-ray, Mobile, Xbox, Android Wear, Apple Watch, and portable High-Resolution Music Players.
Shingo Kohara (Director of Photography.)
Shingo Kohara is a San Francisco based cinematographer. Shingo was born in a rural part of Kumamoto, Japan and from a young age showed a passion for working with his hands and creating art that has inspired his career as a Cinematographer. He works with many local and international clients and is always in demand. His passion for creating continues in fabricating and modifying many of the tools he uses in cinematography.
Joan Jeanrenaud (Composer)
Cellist, Composer, Installation Artist, Mills College Professor. Cellist of the Kronos Quartet for 20 years before leaving to pursue interests in improvisation, composition and installation art. Joan is President of Deconet Music and Deconet Records to manage publishing and distribution of her portfolio of music. Joan generously allowed us to use tracks from her Pop-Pop, Strange Toys and Visual Music albums.
Gary Barten (Composer)
Composer, Musician, Visual Artist, College Instructor, Curator and Co-Owner of Here Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Throughout Gary’s career his BFA and MFA has led him through various endeavors but his love for creating music never left him. For this documentary Gary created the CD, “Music for Hank’s Movie” which he culled from his library of personal recordings. We used every track, plus a few more!
Dave Nelson, MPSE (Sound Design and Re-Recording Mixer)
Dave Nelson is a pioneer of digital sound. In 1989, he began working with San Francisco software developers like Avid, Euphonix, and Dolby to integrate digital audio into film and music production. While he primarily works as a re-recording mixer, he has also mixed and produced several Grammy-nominated albums. His experience as a Supervising Sound Editor and his creative thought process have made him a favorite among Bay Area filmmakers. You can find Dave most days at Outpost Studio SF and is the company he founded in 1996.
